Nearly Finished Recycling Campaign Shoot!

For the past 3 months we had been given an assignment to create and invent a conceptual shoot based around global warming/ globalization/ green living. 

So my shoot is based around the Make do and Mend concept from the 40's; reusing and remolding ready made garments and everyday objects in order to not only keep up with fashion, but to also ration the goods they had.

Therefore i wrapped my model in a load of bin bags and cardboard n had a bit of fun on the beach!

Playing around with Photoshop

I love playing around with photoshop and editing pictures, i hopefully want to get a career in this in the future! I found some Action tools for vintage and retro effects and thought id test them out, pretty funky.

Shoot collaboration!

Been a while but recently i had been asked by a photographer from Model Mayhem to collabprate with her and style her shoot! This was exciting as i hadn't worked on my own properly before and my first collaboration with a photographer!

Its been a while since i last blogged, thats because i am back from summer at uni and its been hectic with a lot of work attatched! Finally though, i am getting stuck into it and inspiration is coming to me! However without the internet at home STILL it is very hard so library it is for me, its my new home!

Yum Yum i love shoes

My next fashion item on the menu is a pair of lace up shoe boots! Ive seen them on the catwalk for 2010 A/W but love that you can wear them in winter and summer! I have found these pair on Ebay and am currently trying to haggle for a little bit cheaper as my bank balance (even though not been shopping in a good 3 weeks!) is getting a little dry. Hopefully they will be nice enough to accept my offer and i will be the proud owners of these gorgeous pair of Nude shoe booots!

World Cup at least there still is JAPAN!!!!

I didn't think i would actually enjoy the football World Cup as much as i have been! I can safely say that i am usually not that interested in football, dont get me wrong i can watch a match but there is something about the world cup, involving every country that makes u patriotic and therefore a crazy football fan haha! 

Again i have the choice of three teams to support being half Japanese half Italian born in England. Having only written this post after the Italians made a mess of their chances and just after watching that oh so BAAAAD match England just lost i can only hope and pray for Japan! They wont win but they've done better than Italy (former world cup winners 2006) so far so support them woo!!
