Final Tshirt Designs and Concept Book

For this three week project set for my Masters Course, we were allowed to do whatever we wanted, and as I explained in my previous post, I collaborated with a girl in my class and we produced a series of images and designs for a proposed Tshirt Launch.

Second project: Tshirt designs!

For the second project of my MA course, we were asked to create anything we wanted so long as it was related to the field we hope to have a career in. I decided to do something within illustration and styling and collaborated with a girl in my class. We thought of creating a menswear range of tshirts based around kaleidoscope, ink blots and the gothic grunge trend. To accompany it we also made a concept book with images from the shoot and evocative images.
Here are a few designs and myself sporting one of the tshirts! We are looking into putting some online to sell so watch this space!

Nail studs

I really wanted to try out some nail studs, they have Ben around for a while but went on eBay and found a little packet of 20 for 1.99. There are many more you can buy from overseas but I wanted mine to come quickly so opted for ones sold in UK.
These ones I found these a bit large for my nails so I will keep on the hunt for more !

Caviar nails!

Today I purchased three for two items from Superdrug and bought a Kate moss matte lipstick in deep red and a little pot of MUA caviar nail decorations.

The caviar itself was quite fiddly to handle and with help of a topcoat it stayed for a while, but it took so long to dry that the beads kept smudging! In the end I had to take it off as it was too annoying to have on!

The Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in shad 107 is a really nice deep vampish red. I wore it on a night out and the colour stayed really nicely! Its best to use a lip pencil with it though, unless you have a very steady hand!

Leopard nails

I found my nail varnish collection !!! So no need to panic !

Today I treated myself to a new Barry m nail varnish in prickly pear. It's from their new gelly shine range which promise a gorgeous shine with pastel and bold colours. I absolutely love this lavender type colour and decided to put on a leopard style print. I don't normally wear animal print but because the colours were different I decided to reverse the black and white, hope you like!

V for vamp varnish

Going along with the gothic trend that's so popular at the moment I have become obsessed with half moon nails designs again! The sad news is that since moving back from uni I have lost my entire nail varnish collection no nail art tools! So iv had to start building up my collection again and have been greatly surprised by Superdrugs's MUA collection. Everything they sell is priced at a pound and the colours are great ! Also the eyeshadows have a great range of colours that stand out and sty on!

A Few Cheeky Buys...

Sooo following on from my last post, I have been able to find and purchase pretty much my whole list! It was a bit of a big spend today, but i was lucky i found the things i was looking for (and a few more!)

It even makes a whole outfit, i am absolutely in love with the skirt, and what a bargain!

I found this  gorgeous blouse in Tesco's Florence and Fred in Crawley. I didn'd buy it as I felt guilty for spending enough today and I still had ink to buy for my printer! If you're thinking "Tesco + clothes = wtf?" then you would be wrong! I have found a few gems in there including a dip dyed jumper, a few pairs of super comfy heeled ankle boots (similar to the Topshop Chelsea Boots). So if you are ever in a big Tesco, defo go and look in the clothing section, you never know what you may find for a good price!
